If your application looks like a good fit, we’ll set up a brief 10–15 minute phone or video call to get to know you, hear about your experience, and answer your questions.

Background Check
After the call, we’ll send a Checkr invitation. Noir & Neat covers the cost — we’re investing in you. Results take 3–5 business days.

Approval & Account Setup
Once approved, you’ll receive an email to set your password and access the contractor app.

Onboarding & First Job
Complete the onboarding kit and Stripe payout setup. Then accept your first job.

📧 About your background check: if we move forward, you'll receive a secure email directly from Checkr (our background-check partner) to complete your check. You'll enter your SSN and date of birth securely with Checkr — never with us. Please watch for that email (check your spam/junk folder too) and complete it promptly so we can finish your onboarding.

This is the language we'll use to send you emails, training videos, and documents.
We offer Event Cleanup jobs — pre-event prep, discrete during-event staffing, and post-event recovery cleans. These often require non-standard hours and pay 25–40% more per job. Only select hours you can RELIABLY work — once you commit, we'll dispatch you for these shifts.
You can change this later in your contractor app. Reliable transportation home from late-night shifts is required if you opt into evenings or all shifts.
